Description: What exactly is electricity? It powers our lights and electronic devices, but how? Electricity is a physical phenomenon that occurs when there is an electric charge. It can be harnessed through engineering for technological uses, and it also occurs naturally. Children and their parents are invited to learn more about electricity and spend time outdoors at the Hitchcock Center Second Saturday Science program. This program will continue on the second Saturday of the month through June, with various themes.
